Anthony & Brittany | Rustic Acres Farm Wedding

Anthony & Brittany were married this past Sunday at Rustic Acres Farm and the day was as beautiful as they come. From the ideal fall weather to the lovely rustic details, this wedding was a true delight. But more significant than the external details of the day was this incredible couple. Brittany and Anthony are two of the kindest, most considerate, and loving clients we have had the privilege of photographing. Thank you, Brittany and Anthony, for everything - you two have been such a joy from our very first meeting over coffee last winter. We hope you enjoy remembering your wedding day and that you’re having an incredible time on your honeymoon!

Maxwell & Alexa | Pittsburgh Golf Club Wedding

The air was crisp and cool as we arrived at the Pittsburgh Golf Club this past Saturday. Autumn had fallen quickly upon us- complete with dramatic clouds and chilly rain - but Max and Alexa’s spirits were not dampened in the slightest. It was their wedding day, after all - a day they had planned for and anxiously anticipated for months. If anything, the swift autumnal shift only added to the romance and expectancy of their celebration.  And a beautiful celebration it was - from their first look to their final dancing. Thank you, Max and Alexa, for the privilege of documenting your wedding. Enjoy some of our favorite frames from your lovely day.

Ryan & Jacquilyn | Cranberry Marriott Wedding

Ryan and Jacqui were married this past Saturday and the day was beautiful. From the pretty pastel details and flowers to their vows and fabulous reception, Ryan and Jacqui planned a lovely wedding celebration. And, notably, Ryan and Jacqui did not let the day pass without honoring their families with affection and gratitude. Weddings hold a menagerie of precious, quickly passing moments, but Ryan and Jacqui savored each one with whispered “I love you”s, joyful tears, firm hugs, and countless expressions of gratitude to their loved ones. We were privileged to document such a remarkable day! Thank you, Ryan and Jacqui, for trusting us to preserve your wedding memories. Many thanks to you both!

What a beauty this wedding was! Along with their families, Chris and Rosie put together a joyous, beautiful, and uniquely Christ-centered celebration. From the hand-picked, vintage details to the palpable excitement and holiness surrounding the day, this wedding was an absolute delight. Thank you, Chris and Rosie, for so kindly welcoming Jake and me. Ian & Gina | Meyersdale, PA Wedding

This wedding was everything a hometown wedding should be and absolutely beautiful from start to finish. While Ian and Gina actually met and fell in love in West Virginia, they decided to hold their wedding in Gina’s charming hometown - Meyersdale, PA.  They pledged their lives to each other in the church where Gina’s parents were married, took portraits on her gorgeous childhood farm, and hosted a joyous celebration at the delightfully artsy historic Morguen Toole Company.  Ian & Gina, thank you for the honor of photographing the start of your marriage. We adore your you two (and your families!) and loved capturing your wedding day. Much love and gratitude to you both!

Chris & Rose | Volant, PA Engagement

I think we encountered more wildlife while on this shoot than on any other I’ve done. We started our time off near a beautiful blue heron, then spent some time chasing and eventually catching a baby frog, and ended the shoot surrounded by the ubiquitous mosquitos.  Bugs aside, I had a wonderful time getting to know Rose and Chris a bit more and documenting this season in their life together. They’ll be married in just a few weeks and I can’t wait to photograph that lovely day!

Curt & Sara | Embassy Suites Coraopolis Wedding

As I routinely checked the forecast last week in preparation for Curt & Sara’s wedding, I prepared myself for a relentlessly wet day, planned for portraits in covered areas, and packed up my umbrellas. The forecast called for 100% chance of rain eight hours of the day and any chance of photographs outside seemed dubious. But, not only did the skies give us an incredible and timely break for portraits, the entire wedding day flowed seamlessly. Curt and Sara put together a truly lovely celebration - from their beautiful, reverent ceremony at Our Lady of Fatima to their wonderfully lively reception at Embassy Suites, the wedding was a delight. Curt and Sara, you two are such a gracious, authentic, and enjoyable couple - photographing your wedding was our joy. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorite frames from your wedding day. Much love and gratitude to you both!

Dave & Kate | McConnells Mill Engagement

It’s probably fairly apparent that I am most inspired by nature and natural light in my photography. I do love some interesting architectural backdrops or a pop of flash in a dark room, but my photographic aesthetic has been most distinctly shaped by the natural world and scenery. And for Dave & Kate, I think it’s safe to say that their relationship has been largely cultivated within the playgrounds of nature - from kayaking ventures on nearby rivers to a memorable proposal on the hiking trail.  Dave has a deep love for nature and has shared his pursuit of natural adventure with a very willing and gracious Kate. Photographing these two surrounded by the beauty of nature, where their love has grown, made perfect sense. So we met at McConnells Mill State Park and spent the evening creating photographs along the rocky trails, beside the rushing Slippery Rock Creek, and in some gorgeous nearby rolling fields. Thank you, Dave and Kate, for such a lovely evening - you two are gems. I can’t wait for your outdoor wedding this autumn!
