My goodness, this wedding was lovely. From start to finish, this celebration was an incredible collaboration of talent, beauty, and well-curated details. Anthony and Miranda (or Tony and Mandi as we know them) have marvelous taste and their wedding could not have reflected this more. But more significant than the aesthetic surrounding their day was the palpable love, joy, and affection. We have been privileged to call Tony a good friend for many years; seeing him in love and at home with Mandi - an absolute gem - was a great joy.
Mandi and Tony, being so intimately present at your wedding, as a groomsman and photographer respectively, was such an honor. Thank you both! We hope you enjoy remembering your wedding day through our lens and that you (finally!) enjoy yourselves immensely in Spain. Much love and gratitude to you both.

I cannot say enough good things about these two! When I first met Anthony and Brittany this past winter for coffee, they seemed to be just the sort of couple I enjoy working with - kind, trusting, and laid back. And they proved to be all of these things and so much more this past Saturday. They had a vague idea of where we planned their photographs, but were completely up for following me around the backroads of Volant with their sweet dogs to a myriad of rural spots. From quickly hopping out of their car on the roadside to bouldering a steep trail to a waterfall, Anthony and Brittany were incredibly easygoing and such a joy. How fortunate I am to work with such wonderful clients! Enjoy a few of my favorite frames from their beautifully green and sunny engagement session.
What a beautiful day this past Saturday turned out to be! I always feel a bit nervous shooting the wedding of a couple I’ve never met with in person, but Patrick and Christine could not have been more gracious and welcoming. From the moment I began photographing Christine’s gorgeous personal details in her childhood home, I knew we were in for a delightful day. Christine has flawless taste and intentionally surrounded her wedding day with reflections of the past - vintage family wedding photographs, her mother’s jewelry, and heirloom handkerchiefs. She and Patrick, after all, share a love rooted in a rich legacy of family, faith, and community; involving all of these things in their wedding day only seemed sensible. Naturally, the two were united in holy matrimony in their home church, St Frances Cabrini in Aliquippa, where they’ve spent many years in service and worship. They then hosted a lovely waterside reception just down the road at the beautiful Gathering Place at Darlington Lake. Thank you, Patrick & Christine, for the privilege and joy of documenting the start of your marriage! Much love and gratitude to you both.

The odds were against us for this shoot. Between schedule conflicts, fallible forecasting and actual inclement weather, Alexa and I rescheduled this shoot about half a dozen times in a few different locations over the course of a month! But we finally landed on the most beautiful Spring evening in Frick Park. I met Alexa and Max a bit before sunset and had a really wonderful time wandering along the park paths, documenting this season in their life together. They share such a fun, romantic, and effortless chemistry. And the light - oh, the light was definitely worth the wait! Enjoy a few of my favorite images from a lovely evening.
I first met Sean and Dominica at Sean’s sister’s barn wedding last year and was thrilled when they contacted me earlier this year about taking their engagement photographs. We set a date in April and hoped for cooperative weather, which is quite a gamble during spring in western Pennsylvania. Gratefully though, we had the most beautiful, partly cloudy evening! We wandered to a few favorite spots in Volant and I had such a wonderful time getting to know these two a bit more. Sean and Dominica are just lovely - unassuming, kind, laid-back - and they share such a beautiful, warm relationship. Photographing them was a joy!
I have some sweet photographs of baby Vera to share today! I first photographed this little gal when she was just a few days old, making it an added delight to see her peaceful, inquisitive demeanor and big blue eyes at six months old. She’s a beauty! And, despite fighting a little head cold, she was such a trooper during our time together and so full of expression. Enjoy a few of my favorite frames!
This was such a delightful wedding with which to start off our season and I can’t think of a better way to break in our new blog! Michael and Rachel are some of the loveliest people we’ve photographed - welcoming, earnest, joyful - and their wedding was such a fitting reflection. Surrounded by their dearest family and friends (some of whom had flown all the way here from England!), Michael and Rachel joined their hands in marriage before God and hosted a very joyous dinner-and-dance celebration. And despite the cold winds (most notably felt during portrait time!), the sun peeked out with its beautiful spring intensity and everything flowed flawlessly. It was our joy to help document such an unforgettable day in Rachel & Michael’s family story. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorite frames from this lovely wedding.
